The majority of my counseling is private, 60 or 90-minute sessions with individuals, couples, or families conducted in my office. My normal office hours in Austin are Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays are dedicated to working with those who have been impacted by ALS - patients, caregivers, and bereaved loved ones. In conjunction with the ALS Association Texas Chapter, I conduct sessions at the Association offices in San Antonio from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In certain cases, I am willing to travel to meet with those in the immediate Austin area who are unable to travel to my office because they are in assisted living or nursing home facilities, are bedridden, or have physical disabilities. For more information please call me at (512) 658-2674.
LONG DISTANCE COUNSELING
While I prefer to meet with clients face-to-face, I realize that there are situations where this is an impossibility. Perhaps they live too far away to make travel feasible or they might normally come into the office, but are unable to because of illness, travel, or scheduling difficulties, etc. In those instances, I will be glad to provide long distance counseling using either the telephone or a computer-based videocam. If it is at all possible, I prefer the videocam since it still gives us an opportunity to “see” each other. I can conduct videocam sessions using Skype, iMessage, Google Chat, AIM, etc. NOTE: Videocam sessions are not necessarily as secure as face-to-face sessions.
For more information or to set up a telephone/videocam session you may contact me by phone at (512) 658-2674 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
