This "article" is actually a chart that shows when we develop various aspects of understanding death, dying, and bereavement.  It also includes the Piaget and Erickson models of development.  For example, the chart shows the main issues faced by someone with a life-threatening illness at different ages.  Remember, just because we get older doesn't mean we lose those characteristics that we had when we were younger — the "magical thinking" we have as children doesn't necessarily go away just because we get older.
